According to some people, comments aren't supposed to be long, That is WRONG! You can comment me as long as you want, and I won't make fun of you!!! We went to open house, and they had a Bradford Woods presentation, for those of you who don't know, Bradford Woods is a place where 5Th and 6Th graders go to spend the night (without parents) for 3 days and 2 nights. I can't wait!!! It will be awesome!! Here is the update for right now, (back by popular demand) Dad is checking email, Mom is helping everyone into bed, Carlie (that threw up in our school lobby at open house) is going to bed, Zack and Brock are eating their snack, and I am, well, blogging. Have a good nights rest for...... WEDNESDAY!!!! Bye. Hallie

Awww, poor Carlie! Stay away from little Miss Pukey so you don't get sick. It's sooo nice to have you blogging again Hallie - I'm so excited! I hope you can do pictures again like you used to, even if it isn't every day.
Michael is learning to play the trumpet so we are hearing some funny noises around here these days but already in just one week he is getting better.
Did you know that Kaitlyn learned to swim all by herself by the end of the summer? She is doing so good and doesn't have to wear floaties anymore. Ethan is almost there but he thinks he is a better swimmer than he really is so we have to really watch him. Last week I had to jump in and grab him, and I was ALL DRY! Everyone seemed surprised that I could jump as far as I did. It scared him a little but he's still too brave. I hope he remembers what he learned for next summer.
Give everybody in your family a great big hug from me, even that weird man that lives there. "-)
Hallie!
Two blogs in one day - we sure are lucky!! I love hearing about your day and what everyone is up to - but I can't wait to be there in just TEN days to experience it in person!! I'll have to help you pack for Bradford Woods since you'll be going there the day after I leave. I'm sure you'll have so much fun! I hope Carlie feels better :( I just hung up with your mom getting more details on her status! She said so far, she seems to be doing better - we'll hope she doesn't wake up too much during the night. Maggie is sacked out in "her chair" right now and I should probably be heading to bed soon myself! The vet told me that I should cut back on Maggie's food a little bit so that she doesn't get too fat! So, now Maggie acts like I'm starving her since we've gone from 3 times a day to two - (I still give her treats all day tho - shhh, don't tell the vet!) I had a not so fun day today - spending almost 3 hours at the dentist, but I'm glad that's over! I had 2 fillings and then they took a bunch of molds of my teeth since I'm getting this thing called "Invisalign" which does the same thing as braces, but it is just these clear trays that you wear all the time except when you are eating to straighten your teeth!
Anyhow, tomorrow is another day at work and then we have church tomorrow night.
I love you so much and can't wait to see you in only 10 days! It will be easy to remember the day I'm coming up since it's the same as your dad's birthday!!
Love you...
Miss you lots!
Aunt Liz
Hallie!!
I love reading your blogs and getting updates on what is going on in your world. Hope Carlie is doing much better! I can almost picture "my hero" in kindergarten! That is one lucky teacher, right? I love you and hope your day is lovely!
Love,
Aunt Donna
Hey, Hallie Girl,
It is good to hear from you again. Sounds like you have been keeping your parents out of trouble between taking you kids to open houses, sports practices and games, and piano lessons.
Sorry that Carlie has been sick. Trust she is doing better today.
Papa and I had such a good time at your house. Time goes by so quickly. It doesn't seem possible that we came back to work only a week ago.
We have hired a man to come finish up some jobs around our house-- especially the screen door on the french doors in the family room. We can't wait for the cooler weather to come so that we can open up the windows and doors and enjoy the fresh air. I am sure the evenings are beautiful in Bloomington by now.
Try to make Aunt Liz behave while she is at your house. At least you won't have to give up your bedroom when she comes!
I had better get back to work so Uncle Rick doesn't fire me!!
Love you!
Grandma Estes
Eric gets to go to Frost Valley this year (in the 6th grade) and he will stay from Sunday afternoon to Thursday morning. He is really excited too. Uncle John might go as a counselor but we aren't sure yet.
Hi Hallie, This is your cool Aunt Michelle......So happy to see your blog. You are doing a great job. I thought of you the other day about how you smile about everything. That is such a sweet thing. I love you. Work hard in school and remember to be the best 6th grader out there!!!!!!
Dear Hallie, Enjoy your great blogs and hearing about all that is going on there. We sure enjoyed our summer visit there!
Glad school is going well and Brock likes it. Carlie probably gets a little lonely at home - hope she is feeling better.
It is still nice and warm here. Grandpa is still driving truck for Uncle Dan and hauling big palm trees, etc. all over - he enjoys it but also misses school teaching.
Enjoy aunt Liz (as I know you will) and hope she doesn't spoil you too much:)
Love you very much!
