Yesterday, (today is Monday) guess what... can you guess... it was exciting!!! I... got... BAPTIZED!!!!!!!!!!! I did it at the end of the first service (there are 3 services). With me were 2 of my friends, about the same age as me. They went first, and our paster said, ( when he got in) "We never know if the tank will be hot or cold, and this week it's cold." When he baptized me, it was cold! So I was shivering a lot. I feel great that I got to be baptized and I wanted to share that (this post) to you. Well! see you towmarrow! (I know I spelled "towmarrow" wrong) Oh yeah, Carlie is being a rat as usual, Daddy, and Zack are playing X-Box Basketball and Brock is watching them, and Mom just left for the gas station. Luv Ya!! See Ya!!

That is great Hallie - good for you! I need to be baptised too, when I was your age all the baptisms were at night in the ocean and I was scared I'd be eaten by a shark. I like the idea of being in a pool or a tank much better.

Want to hear a funny story? When Erin Shambers Dad went to be baptised in a tank where your Aunt Michelle goes to church he slipped and fell into the water and a bunch of it splashed out and got some people in the choir down below (like Sarah Capps Mom) really wet. I'm glad that didn't happen to you!

Thanks for showing us the picture and telling us about your baptism.

Hi Hallie - I had such a fun time at your baptism. It was a special treat for me to be there. I was so proud of you, especially when you had to say why you wanted to be baptized. When I was baptized, the water was very warm. I didn't have to say anything - I'm glad I didn't because I would have been nervous.

Your blog is fantastic - it has inspired me to make more regular posts to my own blog - I'll send you the link.

Take care - Kim

Hallie, Congratulations on your baptism. That is great! I have never been baptized myself, so I will have to do that one day. Hopefully when I do it the water will be warm though because I can't stand cold water! I would be shivering too!

Love,
Charlene
